Description

Big tires, big bounce, and the kind of landings that punish overconfidence. Monster Truck Dirt Rally is a stylized dirt racer where traction and stability matter more than full-throttle aggression, especially on muddy ruts and jump-heavy sections. Controls Desktop: WASD/Arrow Keys to drive, Space handbrake (common), C camera (common) Mobile: Tilt or steering buttons (varies), gas/brake pedals, handbrake icon, camera icon What you do - Race laps or time challenges on dirt tracks - Survive bumps, mud patches, and jumps without flipping - Maintain speed by choosing stable lines, not just straight lines - Earn unlocks (trucks/skins/tracks) depending on the build Throttle control beats power In mud and bumps, full throttle often makes you: - bounce - lose steering - flip on landings Feather the gas through rough patches, then accelerate on smoother exits. Jump rule: lift before takeoff For big ramps: - ease off the throttle just before the lip - keep the truck level in the air - land straight, then accelerate Holding full gas off the ramp often sends the nose too high and causes ugly landings. Cornering line that keeps traction Take turns wide-to-tight: - enter wide - clip the inside smoothly - exit wide with the wheels straightening early Turning sharply while bouncing is how you slide out. Camera choice is a performance upgrade If you’re missing landings, switch to a view that shows: - the next slope - your truck’s angle A clearer horizon makes timing much easier. Common mistakes - full throttle through deep mud and losing control - accelerating off ramps and flipping on landing - turning hard while the truck is bouncing - braking too late and sliding wide Mini drill Run one race focusing on “no flips.” Slow slightly before ramps and rough turns. Once you finish clean, speed comes naturally. FAQ Why do I flip so often? You’re taking ramps too fast or landing angled. Lift before takeoff and land straight. Should I use handbrake in corners? Only for tight turns at controlled speed—handbrake while bouncing usually causes spins. How do I go faster overall? Stay stable through rough sections. Clean traction saves more time than reckless speed.
