Instead of being pure “match-3,” Sweet Beasts plays like two games glued together: you merge cute creature tiles to level them up, then you cash those upgrades into short, auto-resolving battles where team composition matters more than reflexes. If you’ve ever lost a fight while your board looked “strong,” it’s usually because your merges were scattered across too many beast types. Controls Desktop: Click and drag to swap or slide tiles (depending on the version). Click a beast icon to view stats/skills. Click Battle/Start to begin a fight, then use menu buttons for upgrades and habitats. Mobile: Swipe to move or swap tiles. Tap a beast to merge/upgrade. Tap large Battle and Menu buttons. Game-specific habits that actually win Commit to 2–3 “main” beasts early: Merging everything evenly looks good, but it creates a team full of mid-level units. A smaller roster of higher-tier beasts usually performs better in auto fights. Merge where the board is flexible: Center merges create more follow-up options because you can connect from multiple angles. Edge merges trap pieces and reduce chain chances. Spend rare merges on your “carry,” not your collection: If a special/rare tile shows up, feed it into the beast you rely on most (your damage dealer or your tank), not the newest one you just unlocked. Experience tip When a run goes badly, I check the board history: 90% of the time the mistake was “unlocking too many beasts too early,” which forces you into low-value merges for the rest of the level.
