raw-paleo-chocolate-heartsGooey, rich sweet raw paleo chocolate fudge hearts.. Mmmhmm. It is Valentine’s Day and you still have plenty of time for this quick simple 15 minute recipe! These are a creation of mine and combine a few different paleo desert strategies you may have used. Make them for your loved ones and be a hero!
It will be best if you have a food processor but we can make a blender work as well. Just blend up all the dry ingredients, then the wet, mix, mold and enjoy. This recipe will make 6-9 brownies depending upon size. These are very rich and will make a perfect after dinner snack. Created with nutritious, raw, whole foods, you can feel good about indulging on these bites of chocolate love.
Eat these fresh, cold, and refrigerate in an airtight container what is not consumed.
3/4 cup walnuts
1/2 cup coconut flour (can substitute with coconut flakes)
1 cup pitted dates
1/3 cup raw cacao powder
1 raw egg yolk (free range hen)
liquid vanilla stevia to taste
pinch sea salt

1. Blend or process walnuts, coconut flakes (or coconut flour) and salt into powder. Some chunks remaining is okay.
2. Add the dates, cacao, stevia, a small splash of water and egg yolk and continue to blend until you have a fudge batter.
3. Spatula the batter into a bowl and form pieces into hearts for your lover. Store in an airtight container and refrigerate.

If you are feeling adventurous on this Valentine’s Day, and have a bit of bovine colostrum – replace half of the coconut flour with colostrum powder.  It is one of the greatest superfoods….:)
